Founded in 1951 by Bill Jones and Sam Theis.  Known as Bill and Sam's originally, then Sandpoint Distributing, and finally incorporated as Bill Jones Distributors in 1970.  Our history is long and colorful.  The Jones family came to Pennsylvania from Ireland in 1711.  Our warehouse was originally located on Sand Creek in Sandpoint, just past the historical train depot that still stands.  Watch this site for stories from the past and plans for the future.  The names of employees from the past bring back some great memories.  Guys and gals like Jerry Kramer, Gary Buck, Estelle Jacobson, Rudy Mead, Mike Winslow, Bill Currie, Wes Olson, Patty Knaggs, Tim McDonnell, John Conlan, Ed Arndt, Dave Hottell, Jim Barlow, Neal Shoemaker, Mick McCrum, Linda Downard, Gary Fredericks, Leon Anderson, Duffy Walker, Jeff Meyer, Scott Rusho, Clyde Schilling, Neal Edwards, Kenny Payne, Tom McGhee, Jack McDonnell, John Neece, Adam Tate, John Rust and many others have worked and played here.
